chevron_rightWhat is the IAG Loyalty APIs used for?

Our API platform is your gateway to IAG Loyalty, the loyalty partner of choice in travel. We help you build excellent loyalty experiences for your customers through deeper and more profitable engagement. Our suite of APIs allows you to quickly and easily:

  • Award Avios points to your customers in real time whenever they make an eligible transaction with you.
  • Debit Avios points from your customers' accounts in real time when they use Avios to make a purchase.
  • Manage your customers' loyalty membership information and enrol new members into an IAG Loyalty-affiliated loyalty programme (AerClub, British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus or Vueling Club).

chevron_rightHow do I get access to the IAG Loyalty APIs?

To get access you must be an approved IAGL partner and be invited to create an account on the Developer Portal.

chevron_rightHow to verify the member's account before crediting Avios points?

We offer various methods for validation. This will be discussed in detail as part of our integration design after you are approved as an IAGL partner.

chevron_rightWhat skills do my team need to use the IAG Loyalty APIs?

You will require software development capability. Please ask your team to review our documentation which explains the business and technical context of each endpoint. This will allow your team to assess your organisation's capability.
